Sailor Mycenae is a princess from another planet. Her home planet Perseus is almost entirely made from a super strong glass like material and is watched over by a royal family. Mycenae comes from a long line of senshi and received her henshin item for her birthday which she used to transform and defeat a dragon terrorizing her kingdom. She now trains to become a more powerful senshi and protect her kingdom from further attacks.
